This year, I was given a very cool present! A new puppy!

And since he did show up around the Solstice, I have decided the name 冬至 (Tōji in rōmaji) is very apropos.
Interestingly, Wikipedia yields a few more results for Toji. Including the Toji temple in Kyoto.
Believe me, it’s not like I am deliberately naming my new puppy after their temple…
